Ultimately this is probably a better mechanic than the VMAX before it, leading to the game still being played with a focus on Stage 2 Pokemon, and all the accouterments that come with those sots of decks that make them distinct from decks focused on basic Pokemon or even Stage 1 Pokemon

Funnily, my wife pointed out the borders being different sizes, but - unlike almost everything else about these cards - that actually happens to be a common issue with genuine Pokmon cards anyway, so I guess they nailed that aspect
