Silver Gilt Spur Paperweight or Desk Ornament by Garrard march25 Back to the bitThis is a gilded miniature silver spur in the 15th Century styleIt has a rowel with many petal shaped points which turns freely. Each of the curved heel bands ends in a double eyelet, three strap ends hang from these eyelets. The spur is hallmarked London 1974 and has the silversmiths stamp of Garrard & Co. London. The spur can be removed from its metal stand and green granite base Dimensions : Base 5" (12. 5cm) x 3" (7. 5cm) x " (2cm), Spur 3" (8cm)
