Unless your deck has perfect mana, you arent countering a spell with this on turn 4itll be more like turn 5 or 6
The drawback of also providing an opponent with three cards will feel pretty terrible if your game is down to two players, but the rest of the time, youll often be in a position where those cards could be granted for favors (Dont attack me for the next two turns!) or in order to help another weaker player take down the table threat
Shimmering Skies also features a minor re-design to the style of Enchanted cards, making the info boxes take up less space so that the art can properly stretch to every border of the card
Resilience is a big theme for me with this deck, so I went for Thassa Deep-Dwelling over Conjurers Closet, Purphoros over Sneak Attack, Klothys as some graveyard hate, and even Adrix and Nev, Twincasters over Parallel Lives
Of course, there are ways to avoid this, like ending the turn early or preventing the sacrifice with a Master, Multipliede, but with Venerated Stormsinger, why would you want to
