The hooks will always be sterling silver and will be similar in style but may vary slightly from the photos. Even though the birds are ceramic they are very light so easy to wear. The actual blue birds (not including any of the wire) are around 11mm tall. Made from kiln fired earthenware ceramics and then decorated with glaze. Not suitable for young children
